How Do I Make My Ex Girlfriend Miss Me? Tips To Get Her To Want You Back

December 1st, 2020

Regardless of what it looks like to the outside world, being dumped does a lot of damage to a man. Being in love is truly a magical experience and when it comes to an abrupt halt in the form of a sudden break up, it’s enough to upend your world. Many men, perhaps you included, have to deal with this on a daily basis. They’re left in the emotional rubble of a crumbling relationship and only want answers to questions like, “how do I make my ex girlfriend miss me,” or “is there a way to get her to love me again.” It’s natural to want to get back the person you love most in the world. Making her miss you is actually one of the best ways to accomplish that.

The answer to the question, “how do I make my ex girlfriend miss me,” isn’t quite as simple as stopping all contact. You actually have to put in a bit of effort first if you want to make your absence in her life have the greatest impact. It’s essential that you apologize to her for the difficulties you two faced in your relationship. This does not have to be an over-the-top, blown-out-of-proportion apology. You simply need to tell her that you’re deeply sorry for what you did or didn’t do that played a role in the breakdown of your relationship. This one gesture will have a lasting impact on her and will pave the way for you to take your leave for a bit.

When you do decide to create some distance between you and your ex in an effort to get her to miss you it’s important that you follow through with it and stop all contact completely. You can’t call her occasionally just to see how she is and it’s not a good idea to send her a text message once a week to check in. The contact has to come to a complete and total stop. If you give in to temptation and reach out to her, that will negate everything else you are doing.

It’s much easier to stay away from her if you keep yourself occupied with other things. Your friends can be a great resource when it comes to this. Hang out with them more and plan some activities that will soak up your time in the evenings and on the weekends. Go away for a few days if the opportunity presents itself but don’t preface that with a call to your ex telling her that you won’t be available.

If you can resist the urge to be in touch with her, it can have an enormous impact on your relationship in the future. When a couple stops talking it puts a spotlight on their relationship. She won’t be able to stop thinking about you because suddenly you won’t be there for her anymore. All the negative feelings she had about the break up will be replaced with thoughts about the wonderfully loving moments. A little distance can truly change the entire dynamic of your relationship with your ex and can pull her back towards loving you again.

British supermarket chain Tesco to sell its Polish branch to Salling Group A/S

November 23rd, 2020

Sunday, June 21, 2020

On Thursday, UK-based retailer Tesco and Denmark-based retailer Salling Group announced their agreement over selling a large portion of Tesco’s Polish operation to Salling Group. Tesco stated its intention to leave the Polish market altogether, Salling its intention to strengthen its Netto chain in Poland.

The deal covers 301 stores, two distribution centers and the head office. With the acquisition Salling said it seeks to improve its coverage in Southern Poland and, over 18 months at a cost of one billion z?otys, intends to merge these stores into its currently 386 strong Netto chain. Salling also takes over about 7000 employees from Tesco — Netto Poland currently has about 5000 employees. Tesco continues to run 19 stores, which were not included in this package.

The sale price, to be payed in cash, is 900 million z?otys (181 million pounds). In the 2019/20 fiscal year, Tesco said its Polish branch had a 24 million pounds operating loss with a 1368 million pounds turnover; to which the sold units contributed with a 947 million pounds turnover for a 107 million loss. At fiscal year-end, the sold units held a value of 681 million pounds in the books.

UOKiK, the Polish anti-monopoly agency, has to approve the deal. The parties said they expect a decision this year.

Tesco has suffered losses from its Polish operation for several years, as customer preference has shifted away from hypermarkets, Tesco’s preferred store size, to smaller discount stores like Biedronka and LIDL. The Sunday trade ban, introduced in 2018, also hurt sales. According to Notes from Poland (NFP), some discount stores resorted to offer postal services, a loophole which allows Sunday opening hours.

In 2015, Tesco centralized its management in the Central European region, comprising Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia, but reverted the decision later on. At the time, the company invested in e-commerce and started home deliveries, but Gazeta Prawna reports only 0.5% of Polish grocery turnover comes from this segment, compared to 7% in the United Kingdom.

In the past few years, Tesco Polska has cut expenditures by streamlining its product range, halving its staff, shutting off home deliveries in parts of the country, and closing off stores, reportedly including last year its Poznan distribution center. Deutsche Welle (DW) reported in mid-2019, 62 Tesco outlets had closed within a year. Staff layoffs left meat, fish and delicatessen departments without designated shop assistants, and forced staff canteen closures and administration simplifications.

Tesco sold its roughly 2000 Thai and 74 Malaysian stores to Charoen Pokphand in March; announced leaving its joint venture with China Resources Holdings in February; and in 2015 sold its South Korean chain HomePlus. Speaking to Portfolio.hu, Matt Simister, Tesco’s CEO for Central Europe, explained that the company held a 4% share of the Polish retail market, compared to its 16% share in Hungary, and stated they want to stay in Hungary. In a DW report in March of last year, Dave Lewis, CEO of Tesco, stated they did not have intentions of leaving Thailand or Poland.

Tesco’s Polish operation, according to Gazeta Wyborcza in March, is too big for a single monolithic sale. The chain’s press release reported 22 sold units in the past year and a half, for around 200 million pounds. NFP named the Kaufland chain and property developer Echo Investment among the buyers.

Both Tesco and Salling entered the Polish market in 1995.

Get Your Air Conditioning Repair Done From A Trained Technician

by

When your air conditioner is not working, it needs repairs. There are many companies which offers air conditioning repair. An air conditioner is one of the most satisfying electronic items that modern age has given us. It is very common among the wealthy, but more homeowners are installing an air conditioner today. Air conditioning repair is one of those tasks that few homeowners are prepared to take on themselves. But this is actually incorrect, because the knowledge and equipment involved needs a trained technician for the air conditioning repair. But there are things which you can check yourself and this could enhance the performance of your air conditioner.

You could check if the compressor does not turn on, check the fuse and the breaker. If your air conditioner runs, but does not cool, then the refrigerant could be low. So in that case you need to call a service professional. You need to see if the condenser coils on both sides are dirty. If they are, then brush and vacuum them. You need to perform this at least twice a season. If your air conditioner is performing inefficiently that is it is only providing partial cooling, you need to check if the condenser is clean, you also need to see if the filter is clean. If the water leaks out at the furnace, it could be a clogged drainpipe. So you need to check the pipe and clear it if it is clogged. For people who know all this, repairing an air conditioner for them, could be simple. But for those who do not know anything, then you need to hire a professional.

Air conditioning and heating go hand in hand. During winter, you need a heater to keep you warm and during summer you need an air conditioner to keep you comfortable in the scorching heat. If your air conditioner is gone bad and you call a technician, you need to discuss what your problem is and you also need to discuss his fees, before he starts working on your air conditioner.

You can find companies who are involved in air conditioning repair online too. These companies will send the best technician at your place, and then you need not worry much about you re air conditioner. But you need to do a lot of research on the services that these companies offer. Only when you are absolutely sure, you can hire them to repair your air conditioner.

Participant claims drug trial gave him cancer

November 17th, 2020

Sunday, August 6, 2006

A man who fell ill after participating in a drug trial at Northwick Park Hospital in north-west London earlier this year has revealed he has the early signs of an “aggressive” form of cancer.

David Oakley was one of six men who volunteered to take part in a trial of a drug intended to cure conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and leukemia in March. But after taking the drug, the thirty-five year-old suffered multiple organ failure and prominent inflammation.

Mr Oakley, who lives in west London, told today’s Mail on Sunday that doctors have informed him he has “definite early signs” of lymph cancer. He also fears he could develop other debilitating illnesses like rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue syndrome and lupus. He will now undergo tests to see what treatments will be required. “It’s very frightening,” he told the newspaper. “I’m trying not to be too down about the thought of having chemotherapy or that I might die.”

Mr Oakley was paid £2,000 for his involvement in the trial, and that money subsidised his marriage to wife Katrina in June. He now fears their hope of having children has been jeopardised as a result of his ill health. “Katrina and I had planned to start trying for children six months after getting married, but we can’t do that now. Everything is on hold.”

There is nothing to suggest that Mr Oakley’s cancer was triggered by the experiment. He is now seeking compensation from Parexel, the company which organised the drug trial. “Really, I’m just trying to do my bit and pointing out their mistake. If someone doesn’t point it out it could happen again and there’s no way I would like to see someone else go through what we’re going through right now.” Earlier this year, six men had to be admitted to an intensive care unit at the same hospital, in another Parexel drug trial which caused much upset.

‘Naked Guy’ Andrew Martinez dies

November 9th, 2020

Sunday, May 21, 2006

Andrew Martinez, a former student at the University of California at Berkeley who was better known as “The Naked Guy” in the early 1990s, committed suicide on Thursday. He was 33.

Guards at the Santa Clara County Jail reportedly found Martinez unconscious in a jail cell, with a plastic bag cinched around his neck, at about 11:19 p.m. Wednesday. Martinez was taken to a local hospital where was pronounced dead early Thursday. He had been incarcerated since January 10 on charges of battery and assault with a deadly weapon.

Martinez is best known for attending his classes in the nude in the fall of 1992. He became an instant celebrity, appearing on national television talk shows where he defended his practice as a form of free speech and a challenge to sexual repression in Western society.

Martinez was eventually expelled from UC Berkeley for violating the school’s code of conduct, and Berkeley city officials passed a strict anti-nudity ordinance.

Family and acquaintances report that Martinez had been suffering from undetermined mental illness over the past decade for which he never found comprehensive treatment, and had been in and out of halfway houses, psychiatric institutions, and jail.

Said close acquaintance Bryan Schwartz, a civil rights lawyer in Washington, D.C., “He was a person with tremendous gifts and charisma who could have been a great asset to our society, but instead I feel like society — me included — failed him. It’s such a waste.”

Dye Jobs Are Common Hair Salon Treatments In Honolulu

October 24th, 2020

byAlma Abell

It seems like most people have colored their hair at one time or another, and most people who have tried to do their own hair coloring have had at least one botched job that needed to be fixed by a professional hair stylist. Having one’s hair colored can really boost the self-esteem, but if it is not done right, it can make them not want to leave their homes until the color has grown out. This is why it is a much better idea to have this done at a professional salon, where the stylists are fully trained and experienced in working with hair color.

The coloring products that can be found in stores are similar to those that are at salons. Both have permanent and semi-permanent versions. The biggest difference between having hair salon treatments in Honolulu and a do-it-yourself job is that the stylist will know which color to choose for each client. When one has to choose their own in a store, it can get pretty confusing. For instance, they may not know which colors are best for covering grey hair, which is a permanent formula. Or, they may not know the difference between permanent and semi-permanent formulas.

The permanent formulas cause damage to the hair, but the semi-permanent colors don’t last. The best way to know the best type of hair color is to have a hair stylist take a look at the hair. He or she will ask questions about their clients’ lifestyles, so the right recommendations can be made about styles and products used, including colors. Having these hair salon treatments in Honolulu will offer the best grey coverage, and the least amount of damage to the hair. One thing that a stylist will do that most people don’t do at home is a pre-treatment, so the results are terrific.

While it does cost more to have professionals apply hair color, it is a lot better than doing it at home. Stylists are trained to understand how color works on all types of hair, and they can ensure that they use the products that are going keep hair healthy.

Dove ad viewed more than 3 million times on YouTube

October 23rd, 2020

Saturday, November 4, 2006

An advertisement for Dove beauty products has been viewed by well over three million people, without ever being on television. A copywriter from Ogilvy Toronto, the advertising agency that created a spot named “evolution”, uploaded the advertisement to video sharing website YouTube.

While the official upload of the ad itself has been viewed 1,119,262 times, there are dozens of copies of the ad on YouTube, adding to a minimum of 3,059,546 views. The official copy of the video is the website’s 12th most viewed this month, 53rd of all time.

Unofficial uploads have each received high levels of viewership, with 449595, 445322, 207906, 201670, 195265, 116501, and 102634 plays.

The agency did not originally intend to upload the video to YouTube, only display it on the company’s homepage. Staff member Tim Piper uploaded it to his account on October 6, about a week before it first got media coverage on Good Morning America.

The ad begins with a woman walking into a photo shoot. From there, she is primped and plucked by hair and makeup artists, then tweaked on a Photoshop-like program. The photo-manipulation is then posted on a billboard for the fictional “Easel Foundation Makeup” brand. Two young, teenage girls walk past, glancing at the board. “No wonder our perception of beauty is distorted” ends the ad in text, “Every girl deserves to feel beautiful just the way she is.”

The creative team for the ad included Tim Piper, Mike Kirkland, Janet Kestin, Nancy Vonk, directors T Piper (treatment and post production) and Yael Staav (live action) from Reginald Pike, Soho post production, Rogue editing, Vapor music, Gabor Jurina and Make-up: Diana Carreiro, and Reginald Pike.

The official French copy of the ad has only received 132 views, although it was only uploaded on November 2, 2006.
